Petitions

The Petitions section of The Guardian Militia is designed to provide a structured place for members and supporters to review, support, and respond to public issues and initiatives.

This section is intended to allow organized participation in matters that affect constitutional principles, civic responsibility, public policy, and the future of our communities and children.

Purpose of the Petition Center

The Petition Center exists to:

  • present petitions clearly and publicly
  • allow individuals to express support or opposition
  • track participation in an organized way
  • maintain records of responses
  • support lawful and peaceful civic engagement

How Petitions Will Work

Each petition page will include:

  • the title of the petition
  • a summary of the issue
  • the full petition text
  • a place to vote Yes or No
  • a place to enter name and email address
  • a running tally of responses
  • a linked page or sub-page showing recorded names in alphabetical order

This system is intended to keep petition activity transparent, organized, and easy to review.

Voting and Participation

Participants will be able to:

  • review the petition
  • choose Yes or No
  • submit their name and email
  • become part of the petition record

The vote totals will show the number of:

  • Yes votes
  • No votes

A separate petition record page may also display the submitted names in alphabetical order.

  • name of participant
  • email address
  • date of submission
  • vote selection
  • petition title

This information helps maintain an accurate record of participation and petition activity.
